Inspected by CVBS

Accor’s Pullman resort at the southern end of Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas, about an hour north of Cairns. A Temple Room for 162 theatre that divides into two, seven event spaces in all, and apartments set around a 3,000 sqm lagoon pool.

It suits a residential conference, retreat or incentive of up to 160 where delegates stay on site, with the evenings moving out to the terrace and the boardwalk.

What it suits

Good for

  • Residential conferences and retreats to 160 with delegates staying on site
  • Incentive and leadership groups wanting the reef and the Daintree within reach
  • A plenary with two breakouts, as the Temple Room divides into rooms of 64 and 72 theatre
  • Poolside receptions to 180 on the Lagoon View Terrace
  • Board meetings to 16 in the Four Mile Room

Look elsewhere for

  • A seated plenary above 162 in one room
  • Exhibitions or trade floors
  • Programs that need delegates in and out of Cairns on the same day

The event floor

The Temple Room takes the plenary or the dinner and divides into two rooms for breakouts, with floor to ceiling windows at the rear. The Four Mile Room handles a board meeting or a third breakout, and the Lagoon View Terrace and Sunrise Boardwalk take the evenings outside.

Accommodation

Delegates stay on the resort site in studio spa rooms or self-contained apartments with kitchens and laundries, many looking over the lagoon pool, some with a private plunge pool or swim-out access.

Where these figures come from, and why a dash is not a zero

A dash means the resort publishes no figure for that setup. It does not mean the room cannot be set that way, only that we will not print a number the venue has not published.

Every figure is read from the resort’s own meetings page and 2026 capacity chart, checked 24 September 2026. Never estimated, never taken from a directory.

The resort’s capacity chart and its room pages give different banquet figures for the Temple Room and the Lagoon View Terrace, so banquet is left out of the table and we confirm it with the resort before it reaches a shortlist.

Bigger rooms in Cairns

The Temple Room tops out at 162 theatre, so a larger plenary moves to a bigger room in Port Douglas or an hour south in Cairns. The figures below were read on 24 September 2026. Each figure below is read from that venue’s own published material. This is not a survey of the whole Cairns market, only the rooms we checked to make sure nothing on this page overstates the building.

Sources, photography and how we work

Capacities read from the venue’s own published material on 24 September 2026. Comparison figures read from each named venue’s own published material on the same date.

We do not see every room on every visit. Where we were not in a room, its figures come from the venue's own chart rather than from us. We do not rate or score venues and we do not publish rates.

Our service is free to you. We are independent of every venue we put forward, no venue is favoured, and your interests come first.
